film. According to its functions, protective film is sub-divided into: high-temperature protective
film double-sided protective film, insulating protective film, special protective film, pressure
-sensitive protective film, die cutting protective film, Temporary surface protective film, different
functions for different industry needs.
Protective film - Process of invention
Applied in May 30, 1928 in the United Kingdom and the United States, Drew invented a very light
adhesive which can stick easily with pressure. The first trial product was not sticky enough, so
Drew was told: "Get this stuff back to your Scottish boss and ask them to put more glue! ("Scottish"
means “stingy". However, during the Great Depression, people found hundreds of uses for such
protective film, from patching clothes to protecting eggs, which are of great use.)

Why protective film can stick on things? Of course, because it is coated with a layer of adhesive!
The first adhesive was from animals and plants. In the 19th century, rubber is the main

Insulating protective film
Insulating protective film is specifically used by electricians to prevent leakage of electricity and it has
insulating effect. Insulating protective film has good insulation and voltage resistance, flaming
retardancy, weather resistance and other features. It is suitable for connecting wires, electrical
insulation protection and so on.
Production process: PVC film as the substrate coated with rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Anti-corrosion protective film
It is adhesive tape used for antiseptic wound, which is divided into cold wrap and heat wrap. Cold
wrap tapes generally include polyethylene (composite) type anti-corrosion protective film,
polypropylene reinforced fiber anti-corrosion protective film, aluminum foil UV resistant anti-corrosion
protective film, polyethylene 660 (modified asphalt) protective film, double-sided adhesive anti
-corrosion inside tape (This protective film is seldom used in China, but very practical very widely
used in foreigin countries. Generally for export) and epoxy coal asphalt anti-corrosion protective
film. Executive standards are SY / T0414-98 and SY / T0447-96. Heat wrap tapes, also known as
radiation cross-linking polyethylene heat shrink wrap tape. The adhesive should be melted with
heat during application. Sometimes it needs to be assisted by solvent-free epoxy coating and
becomes three-layer structure anti-corrosion. Executive standard is SY / T0413-2002.
Shielding protective film

Polyimide protective film
Polyimide protective film, also known as Kapton protective film, polyimide film as the substrate coated
with imported organic silicon pressure sensitive adhesive. It has properties such as high temperature
resistance, acid resistance, solvent resistance, electrical insulation (H level), radiation proof and so on.
Usage: Provide a protective barrier to scratch, mark, damage and dirt at the process of
transportation and installation.
Applications: Stainless steel plate, Stainless steel deep drawing, aluminum profile, aluminum
window & door, coated aluminum plate, colored steel plate, mirrored steel plate, glass, carpet,
acrylic (PMMA) sheet, PVC sheet, ABS sheet, aluminum plastic composite panel, decorative
laminate, artificial marble, ceramic, aluminum ceiling and so on.
Good weatherability, stalbe adhesive strength, can be easily applied and removed. Leaving no
residue glue after removal.
UV resistance for up to 12 months.
