Stainless Steel Sheet No. 8 Mirror Finish
No. 8 mirror is high glossy, polished finish, having a high degree of reflectiveness, also called non-directional finish. Mirror surface is blemish free and has perfect reflective quality. It’s widely used in food preparation, ceiling and high pedestrian areas. No. 8 mirror comes with a double layer of protective film to protect the mirror finish during fabrication and installation. |

Stainless Steel Sheet Bright Annealed (BA) Finish
The bright annealed (BA) finish is cold rolled stainless steel that is annealed in a controlled atmosphere to retain a highly reflective finish. Although it is not completely identical to the #8 mirror finish, it appears to be very similar. The bright annealed finish normally has a protective film on one side to protect it against scratching during fabrication and installation. |

Stainless Steel Sheet Hairline Finish
Hairline was obtained by endless grinding lines extend uniformly along with the length of coil or sheet. It’s a well-defined directional finish with long and fine line. The stainless steel hairline finish normally has a protective film on one side to help protect against scratching during fabrication and installation. |
 |
Stainless Steel Sheet No. 4 Finish
Stainless steel sheet No. 4 finish is the brushed finish commonly seen on kitchen appliances and backsplashes. The stainless steel sheet No. 4 finish normally has a protective film on one side to help protect against scratching during fabrication and installation.

Stainless Steel Sheet Etched Finish
Etched patterns are created by selectively applying a protective acid resistant film to appointed areas and acid etching the unprotected areas. The etching removes a thin layer of stainless steel, changes the color to a dull silver gray, and roughens the surface, which can be contrasted with grinding, super mirror or other finishes to create thousands of variations. Etched finish also can be colored before or after etching. It was widely used for decoration applications, such as elevator doors, wall panels, coping and trim. The stainless steel sheet etched finish normally has a protective film on one side to help protect against scratching during fabrication and installation.

Stainless Steel No. 1 Finish
No. 1 is a rough, dull and non-uniform finish, which results from hot rolling to the specified thickness, following by annealing and descaling. It’s generally used in industrial applications, such as equipment for elevated temperatures service, checker plate and so on. |
 |
Stainless Steel 2D Finish
2D is a dull, silver gray and non-reflective finish which results from cold rolling followed by annealing and descaling, and may perhaps get a final light roll pass through unpolished rolls. It’s widely used in the industry that may not concern the uniform of the finish. |
 |
Stainless Steel 2B Finish
Stainless steel 2B finish has a mill finish, which is smooth and NOT the brushed finish commonly seen on kitchen appliances. Stainless steel 2B finish may or may not have a protective film on one side to prevent scratching. So the stainless steel 2B finish will commonly have scratching. |
 |
Stainless Steel Sheet Bead Blast Finish
Bead blast was produced by the impact of a hard, inert medium onto the surface result in non-directional, uniform matt surface with a soft satin reflection and low reflectivity. Bead blast provides a clean, consistent, streak-free finish. Stainless steel bead blast finish may have a protective film on one side to prevent scratching. |
 |
Stainless Steel Scotch Brite Finish
Scotch Brite is a semi-dull grinding finish with uniform grain. It has smooth, soft and exquisite grains with a low level reflectivity and unidirectional texture. It’s suitable for internal architectural, elevator panels, and kitchen applications. Stainless steel scotch brite finish may have a protective film on one side to prevent scratching. |
 |
Stainless Steel Sheet Vibratory Finish
Vibration is not a highly reflective finish, has a uniform texture with random, multi-directional grit lines with highest degree of consistency, It’s also called non-directional Satin and Angel Hair. Vibration is one of the most popular finishes because of its non-direction and high density scratch reacting incredible fine texture. |
 |
Stainless Steel Starlight Finish
Starlight is one kind of embossed stainless steel finish with non-directional, reflective and uniformly textured. Because of its high consistency, it’s excellent suitable for panel-to-panel matching, which is widely used for exterior and interior of architectural, such as wall panels, elevator panels, escalator, coping and trim. |
 |
Stainless Steel Sheet Linen Finish
Linen is one kind of embossed stainless steel finish with directional, reflective and uniformly textured. It’s designed for exterior and interior of architectural, such as wall panels, elevator panels, escalator, coping and trim. Because of its honeycomb texture, Linen was also popular for sink application for scratch resistant. |
 |
Note:
The finer polished finishes (No. 4 and No. 8) are generally only produced one side of the sheet, the reverse side being either a 2B or No. 3 Finish.
